Cookie Policy

This policy applies to hipereach.com, the website of Hipereach. The site uses no cookies at all, and the summary below explains how it stays that way. The rest of the page covers two things that are easy to confuse with cookies: the technical data any web server handles, and the landing pages of our own brands, which do use measurement tags and carry their own notices.

1. Summary

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It loads no analytics and no advertising or social media tags, and every file it uses comes from our own domain. That is why you saw no consent banner: there is nothing to ask your consent for.

The site is also built so that this stays true. Its Content-Security-Policy header tells your browser to accept scripts, styles, images and fonts from our own domain only, so a third-party tag added by mistake would be blocked rather than run. Another header denies the site access to your camera, microphone and location. Text appears in the fonts installed on your device, and there are no embedded videos, maps or share buttons.

One small script runs on every page. It is our own, and all it does is open and close the menu on narrow screens and fill in the current year in the footer. It reads nothing from your device and writes nothing to it.

You can check this yourself. Open the storage panel of your browser's inspection tools on any page of hipereach.com: the lists of cookies and local storage for the site are empty. The network panel tells the same story, with every request going to hipereach.com and nowhere else.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Some cookies are needed for a site to work, for example to keep you signed in or to remember a shopping basket. Others recognize the same browser across visits and across different sites, which is how most advertising measurement and retargeting works.

Similar technologies reach the same result by other means:

local storage and session storage, which keep data in the browser without using cookies;
tracking pixels, small images or scripts that report a page view or a purchase to another company;
click identifiers, such as the ttclid or fbclid that TikTok and Meta add to the web address when someone taps an ad, which the page can read and keep;
device fingerprinting, which recognizes a browser from its combination of settings.

Under the ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)), as implemented in each EU country, a website must ask for consent before storing or reading information on your device, unless doing so is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. This site uses none of these technologies, whether necessary or not.

3. Technical data handled by our hosting provider

Delivering a web page still involves some data. With every request, your browser sends your IP address, a user agent string that names the browser and operating system, and the address of the page it wants. Our hosting and content delivery provider records these details, with the time of the request, in access logs.

None of this is a cookie. It happens on the server, and nothing is stored on your device. The logs exist for security and reliability, for example to spot and block a flood of automated requests, and they are deleted after 30 days. They are not turned into visitor statistics.

Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, the consent rule for cookies does not apply here. The logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, available website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and your rights over them are set out in the Privacy Policy.

4. Links to other websites

A few pages link to other websites. Nothing from the other site loads until you click the link. After that, its own cookie and privacy policies apply, and it may set cookies of its own.

Our Referrer-Policy header limits what your browser passes on when you follow such a link: the other site learns that you came from hipereach.com, but not which of our pages you were reading. Email addresses on this site simply open your own email program.

5. Landing pages and campaign measurement

This website is separate from the landing pages our own brands use to sell their products. Those pages are where people arrive after tapping one of our ads on TikTok, Facebook or Instagram, and they work differently.

Our brands' landing pages can carry the TikTok Pixel or the Meta Pixel. The pixel sets a first-party cookie or a similar identifier, reads the click identifier from the ad's link, and reports events such as a completed purchase or a submitted form, which is how a sale gets tied back to the ad that produced it. Those events can also go from our server to the platform, through the TikTok Events API or the Meta Conversions API; a shared event ID stops the platform from counting one conversion twice.

Each landing page shows its own cookie notice, naming the brand responsible and listing the technologies used, with how long each cookie lasts.
In markets where consent is required, no pixel loads until the visitor agrees, and server-side events follow the same choice. Declining leaves the page fully usable.
Landing pages we build and host for a brand partner carry that partner's cookie notice, because the partner decides which measurement its pages use.

None of this happens on hipereach.com. Reading these pages does not put you in an advertising audience, and it does not tell TikTok or Meta that you were here.

6. Controlling cookies in your browser

Nothing needs changing to use this site. For other sites, every major browser can show, delete and block cookies. Menu names shift between versions, but the controls are usually here:

Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, where you will find Third-party cookies and Delete browsing data.
Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
Safari on a Mac: Settings, then Privacy, with Manage Website Data and the option to prevent cross-site tracking.
Safari on iPhone and iPad: the Settings app, then Safari (under Apps on recent versions of iOS), which holds the options to block cookies and clear website data.
Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data.

Blocking every cookie can break sign-in pages and checkouts on other sites. Blocking only third-party cookies rarely causes problems.

Ads shown inside the TikTok, Facebook and Instagram apps are personalized according to the ad settings in your account on each platform. Browser controls do not reach those settings, so change them in the app.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever add a cookie or a similar technology to this website, this page will be updated before it goes live, with a description of what it does and how long it lasts. Where the law requires consent, the site will ask for it first. The date at the top shows the current version.
